About Us
Re-awakening
Bhakti wherever
we go
Jai Gurudev and Welcome to Bhakti Bharat!
This initiative has been inspired by God-realized Master and SatGuru Paramahamsa Vishwananda and His love of travel and passion for uncovering the Saints and Holy sites of India.
Bhakti Bharat invites you to explore mystical India with Paramahamsa Vishwananda and Shree Giridhar Dham Ashram. We will be visiting ancient temples, tirthas, saints, sages and amazing natural heritage sites. We provide you with incredible adventures that are specifically designed to satisfy all devotees and spiritual seekers.
We also offer Yoga and Ayurvedic workshops, spiritual events and celebrations as well as pujas and parikramas at some of the most world renowned places of worship.
To learn more about Paramahamsa Vishwananda please visit his peronal website at paramahamsavishwananda.com.
Our Destinations
NEPAL
We will visit and almost completely cover the Chota Char Dham Yatra – the main pilgrimage route of the Indian Himalayas. Chota Char Dham includes the sources of the great sacred rivers of India and the main abodes of Lord Narayana and Lord Shiva on earth.
Yamunotri – here, in a small village there is a temple of goddess Yamuna, and a little higher in the glacial lake the sacred river Yamuna originates. Yamuna represents Prem, the love of God, and to rise to its origins means to receive a blessing to develop this pure love.
In the last village on the way to the Gangotri glacier, there is a Ganga-devi Temple, and a few kilometres above, the Ganga River is born, falling in a stream from the tangled hair of Lord Shiva. The Ganges represents purification, it carries away all our sins in its waters.
If the Ganges cleanses one from negativity, then the Yamuna multiplies one’s good merits and qualities. By taking a bath in both sacred rivers, a person can achieve spiritual perfection and liberation.
