I felt like I was really enjoying my kriya and that I needed to go deeper into the kriya. That’s why I wanted to go on this retreat. But I realised actually in this retreat that I don’t think I really did enjoy the kriya before. (…) It was so nice to do the kriya in a way that my Ishtadev in my heart is doing it for me. I’m not actually doing it. He’s doing it for me. And to let that happen, not trying to do it myself. It was just so nice. And really, this whole trip, all the satsangs have been amazing, even the talks that we had in the cars, which were kind of like satsangs, but also sharings, has been beautiful.
I first want to thank the organizers: 10/10. I also really enjoyed the satsangs and all these life lessons from the swamis and everyone who were sharing their stories and experiences. I’ve been really touched by that. Something I’ve noticed during this trip is that I was able to go a little bit deeper in my kriya, which I don’t get to do often in New York city, cause it’s the business and the craziness. But here, I really noticed I was able to do it deeply and with more joy and happiness. So really, what I want to do now is to take this presence and joy, bring it back with me to New York.
There have been so many special moments with each person, wether it’s hearing their story or their relationship with Guruji. And being surrounded by all of your love [the participants’] specially when I was going through intense purification, I just felt so surrounded, and embraced, and loved. And this is one thing that I will be taking away: this reminder that Vitthala Rukmini, my Mum and my Dad are litterally always holding me! And They are coming to me with all those different faces to tell me, ‘It’s really ok! So just go with it and we’re holding you the whole time!’ I’m going away with so much gratitude for how much blessing and miracle, not just this time is, but all of our lives with Guruji is.
